  • 500gr pleurotus mushrooms Kolindros
  • Olive Oil (For the marinade)
  • Balsamic vinegar (For the marinade)

Execution

Prepare the mushrooms by removing the thicker stems. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle them well with the ingredients of the marinade. Season with sea salt, pepper and stir well.  Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge for three to four hours. Moving on, place the grill pan on the burner and heat it up. Pour some oil and then arrange the mushrooms. Take a spatula in order to press them gently. They will start releasing their liquid, but keep the temperature high until it evaporates. After that, turn them from the other side with a pair of tongs until they brown, which signifies they are ready. In total, you need ten to fifteen minutes. Finally, transfer them to a platter and serve as you wish.

A simple and tasty suggestion is to serve them as an appetizer by sprinkling them with oil, lemon and oregano or honey sauce.
