Ingredients

  • 500gr pleurotus mushrooms Kolindros
  • 1kg beef meat
  • 6 bell peppers (yellow, red, orange)
  • 1kg onions
  • ½ cup red wine
  • 2kg of ripe tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • Sea salt, pepper
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Execution

Sauté the meat in a cooking pot with a 1/3 cup of olive oil so that it browns from both sides.  Deglaze with wine and let it evaporate.

Add the graded tomato and sugar and we let it boil.

In another cooking pot (quite deep) pour 1/3 cup olive oil and place the onions (thick slices).  Sauté them lightly and add the peppers cut in slices. After that, add the mushrooms.

In a roaster put the peppers together with the onions and mushrooms. Then arrange the meat by adding sea salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary. Roast in the oven at a low temperature (150 C) for four to five hours. (Depends on the oven)
